Institutional Investor publication.
Commerzbank is Germany’s second largest bank and one of Europe’s major banks. When I was entrusted with this project I did think ahead but I certainly did not anticipate the popularity this publication will have today. This is an extract of the editorial from the April 2012 edition.
“Editor’s letter, As they say time flies! With this edition of Thinking Ahead we celebrate three years of the magazine launch. I would like to express my gratitude to all the readers who, over time, have sent messages of praise and who motivate us to carry on month after month looking for topics of your interest, and delivering content that hopefully helps you to define and implement your investment or risk management strategies. ...”
Few weeks after I started my assignment at Commerzbank within Financial Institutions Marketing, the head of the department came to me with the following brief. “Helena I have a project I would like you to help me with. I would like to create a kind of publication or magazine for our clients; something where we can discuss some topics but also present our products, their performance, etc.” That was it!
Three months later, with the help of one colleague who had in-depth knowledge of the company, their proposition and internal resources we created the structure of the publication, sourced contributors, collated content, arranged interviews, obtained approvals and signing-off from compliance. I develop the first visual identity, as well as commissioned and directed photography.Visit Mendoza Photography
